Ibom Dock is a Nigerian company based in Ikot Abasi in Akwa Ibom State.
The company has regenerated the former Opobo Boat Yard and specialise in the production of GRP FAST CRAFT.
Currently 5 different types of vessel are in production, all designed and constructed in Ikot Abasi, under the management of Captain Atze de Vries, a Dutch national with extensive maritime experience.
As all designs and moulds are produced on site the boats can be modified to suit the requirements of individual clients. This also applies to engine and drive specifications. Click here for specification sheets describing the standard production vessels.

At present the company employs 30 local tradesmen, all trained at the yard in different aspects of boat construction and engine maintenance.
Ibom Dockyard is soon to embark on an extensive expansion program, to enable it to construct larger vessels, as seen in the proposed site plan.
